The segments where modified, to the amount needed to give the bench the ability to have a a face. In the front view the bench was shaped in vertex mode to give the arc shape on the top of the bench.
The slats where then extruded down from the top post, keeping them an equal distance and the slats are in the centre of the top board for a move realistic effect.
out of the center of the end slats and the base of all the slats. The seat was then filled in using the create polygon method in vertex mode.
The legs where then extruded down to the desired hight for the bench, the bar under the seat was added to give the character a lower lip, to allow for the bench to have facial language.

The texture was added to the model and a UVW map was applied on the box settings.
